Museum of the History of Catalonia

The Museum of the History of Catalonia occupies half of the Palau de Mar building, former port storage areas built at the end of the 19th century.
Its exhibition explains the history of Catalonia from time immemorial to the end of the 20th century with the support of the objects looked after by the museum. There are guided visits and other additional services: shop, restaurant, library, teacher services, etc.
The museum also promotes and organises events to disseminate the history of Catalonia and collaborates in the study of it.
